gui settings in Windows Vista

Windows Vista has not enough settings in display properties , Im a gamer so i need to turn off my v-sync in advanced display properties,For Higher FPS ingame, But for some reason Vista carries no option , Help please...

v-sync is a function of video card drivers. If nvidia or ati did not include it then you can only wait and hope they do or email and bug them about it. MS does not write the drivers.

If the card works well for you in XP, I wouldn't. Vista's a beta and the final won't be out til 2007. Upgrade then when it's out if you buy it. No point replacing a good card to to run a beta that may not run your games or whatever properly.
